Egg Roll Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 250-400g pound ground pork

  • 6 cups shredded cabbage (about 1 small head)

  • 150g (half a package) rice noodles

  • 2 large carrots, shredded or julienned (about 2 cups)

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1-3 tbsps soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • Garlic clove, minced

  • Ground ginger

  • Sugar

  • Lime, fish sauce, or rice vinegar

  • MSG (optional)

  • Hot sauce, pepper sauce, or whatever spice you like

  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced for garnish

Directions

  1. Soak the rice noodles in cold water for 20-30 minutes.

  2. Heat sesame oil in the pan and fry the ground pork in a hot skillet or wok. Add garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Add the rest of the spices.

  3. Add vegetables and noodles, stir frying over high heat.

  4. Season as desired. Serve hot with green onions as garnish.
