Granola (2nd type)
Ingredients
4 cups old fashioned oats, raw
1 1/2 cups nuts and seeds (pecans, toasted coconut, almonds, flax seeds)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup dried fruit (blueberries, dates minced)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
Heat the coconut oil and syrup/honey in the microwave.
Mix everything except the fruit and delicate stuff that can’t be cooked.
Bake on a sheet pan for 21-24 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and toss.
Cool and break up and store in a dry container.
