Breakfast oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats, old fashioned

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 cups water

  • 4 cooking apples, macintosh

  • 1/2 stick butter, or more

  • 1/3 cup flax meal, or more

  • cinnamon

  • blueberries

Directions

  1. Peel and shred the apple into a pot with butter and cinnamon. Cook until soft.

  2. Add the oats, flax, milk, and water. Simmer until mostly absorbed, careful not to burn.

  3. Add blueberries and salt.
