Tofu crisp

Ingredients

  • 2 blocks extra firm tofu

  • Bouillon or broth

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • Coreander

  • Pepper

  • 4 tbsp corn starch

  • Oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425.

  2. Crubme tofu into a bowl with bouillon. Boil water and pour to cover. Mix and let rest 10-15 mins or more.

  3. Drain the tofu well. Add all ingredients except the starch and oil and toss. Then toss with starch and oil.

  4. Spread out on a sheet pan and bake for 30 mins, flipping over once or twice to ensure even cooking.
